| An extremely rare Large Ichimatsu Gofun Jointed Ichimatsu Ningyo Doll. Estimated to be from late Edo~Meiji Period and observed to be in very good to excellent condition. No major cracks or flaws but age-old wear and joints are intact. The kimono is of chirimen silk with matching bib and hat. The eyes are glass and the whole body is made of gofun or powdered oyster shells. The doll has a tongue, red-puckered lips plus real human hair. Total Height is 61 cm. | |||||||||||||||
