A fine bronze Shishi Koro. Meiji Period (circa 1870s). Comes with original box and in excellent condition. The side handles are in the shape of an elephant's trunks while the elaborate main design depicts birds playing with each other. On the bottom of the main body are hanging grapes which greatly adds to it overall beauty and appeal.
