Great Pair of Japanese Folding Screen - Cranes and Pines This set which comes with its original wooden case box (heavy) is estimated to have been done during late Edo to early Meiji and signed by the artist himself. There are age-old minor scratches and defects but on the overall, it is said to be in great condition considering everything else. A sentimental depiction of popular Buddhist art with flying Tsuru or cranes amidst a red setting sun symoblizing Japan and its serene and peaceful refined taste of wabi-sabi.
