Arya-Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva - Perceiver of the Sounds of the World - Sho Kannon Bosatsu (Japanese)
Sho Kannon Bosotsu is depicted as crowned and arrayed with strings of jewels, wearing a decorative band across his chest, with floating draperies and a sarong around his lower body. Usually, he holds a lotus bud that he is about to open with the fingers of his right hand as can be seen in the statue. The whole body is outlined with golden saishiki so that it shines even in dark places such as when it is placed inside the Butsudan or Altar, the mandorla is missing which rather gives a renewed presence. Measurements: Height x Width x Depth = 27 x 10 x 7 cm. Shipping and Handling via EMS:
