EDO Japanese Buddha Kannon Bosatsu 43 Gods Zushi Shrine

A very, very rare Edo Period (1700s) dioramic Zushi Shrine encasing 37 pieces Buddhist Kannon Bosatsus or Hotoke-sama (Nyoirin, Seishi, Sho, Senju, etc.). Nothing to describe else, breath-taking to look at and just plain rare Buddhist Art piece. Made and signed by Tanaka Shusui as inscribed on the lacquered body of the Zushi. Presumed to have come from Zenkoji Temple.
